Meet Adrian Bălan, a young entrepreneur with big plans in the field of beekeeping! A graduate of the Vocational School in Bubuieci, specializing in beekeeping, Adrian is currently the administrator of his own company and proudly manages an apiary of approximately 300 bee colonies. For him, this profession is more than just a business: “I chose beekeeping because it is the work that gives me hope, a much healthier life, and brings sweetness to my soul,” says Adrian. The young beekeeper sees himself as a leader in the “sweet market” within the next five years. His goal is to expand his apiary to more than 2,000 bee colonies and bring local honey not only to our tables but also to international markets. Through his example, Adrian encourages young people to follow the same path and choose this noble profession.
The beekeeper:
manages and maintains bee colonies;
carries out maintenance and repair works on beehives;
applies preventive and curative treatments;
organizes winter feeding;
performs extraction operations for bee products such as honey, wax, pollen, bee bread, royal jelly, propolis and bee venom;
processes and sells beekeeping products.
